Swyft Technology Welcomes Peter Kaplan to the Leadership Team
Jacksonville, Florida – Jan. 12, 2011– Swyft Technology http://www.getswyft.com, today announced that Peter Kaplan has joined the company as Senior Advisor. He will work closely with CEO Rob Lee and senior management on a wide range of both strategic and tactical initiatives. “We are excited that Peter has agreed to formalize his relationship with Swyft. Our work together dates back to the company’s founding in 2004” said Lee. “He brings a unique perspective, gained from an extensive career of more than 40 years in government, law and business.”

Before joining the Swyft team, Peter Kaplan served as Executive Vice President for External Affairs in the Mortgage Division of Alltel Information Services from 1995 through 2003. He wore many hats at Alltel. As the company’s chief Washington representative his responsibilities included overseeing its legal and regulatory affairs, acting as industry liaison, and providing guidance for strategic planning. He also served as a Director of Alltel Mortgage Solutions, a joint venture with Bradford & Bingley Bank. After the company was sold, he returned to his former law firm as Of Counsel, simultaneously serving as President of the Pine & Howard Group, an investment company. He retired from both positions at the end of 2009. Currently Peter divides his time between Washington and Jacksonville.
