What is Swyft?

We are an eCommerce fulfilment company helping small, medium to large-sized businesses ship internationally.

What is eCommerce fulfilment?

eCommerce fulfillment refers to the part of your business that involves the operations after receiving an order. It includes the picking, packing, shipping, and delivery of products from you to your customer’s doorstep.

Do I have to be a registered business to use this? Can any eCommerce business use Swyft?

You do not have to be a business to use Swyft, anyone can sign up! Once you have an order, you can start shipping in just a few clicks. 

Shipping with Swyft is easy – you can pay as you go, and there are zero commitments!

Do I have to connect my store to ship with Swyft?

If you have an eCommerce store either on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or any other platform you can choose to connect your store with us, via API integration or plugins (coming soon).

How do I ship with Swyft?

There are 2 ways you can go about this.

If you choose to use our platform, check option 1. If you chose to reach out to us via email, check option 2:

Option 1 – Platform

  1. Finish packing the item to get its final weight and size
  2. Log into the system
  3. View rates
  4. Select service
  5. Fill in order details
  6. Once labels are received from Swyft, print and paste them on the package
  7. Request a pickup by Swyft (you will incur a small charge), or drop-off at our Swyft office

 

Option 2 – Email

  1. Finish packing the item to get its final weight and size
  2. View rates on our system or link
  3. Share order details via email (in an excel template)
  4. Once labels are received from Swyft, print and paste them on the packages
  5. Request a pickup by Swyft (you will incur a small charge), or drop-off at our Swyft office

Does Swyft ship to a limited number of countries?

No, we ship to anywhere in the world.

How is chargeable weight calculated?

Courier’s charge on the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight.

Volumetric weight is calculated as – (height * width * length in centimeters)/5000 or (height * width * length in inches)/305 

eg:

Actual weight   0.45 kg
Volume weight (15cm x 18cm x 15cm) 0.81 kg
Chargeable weight     1.00  kg

How do claims and returns work for Express & Standard shipping?

Refusal by consignee
Damages to internal content along with damages to outer packaging Upon submitting relevant photographic evidence of damaged outer packaging, the invoice value (maximum USD 50) would be refunded or a replacement shipment will be provided free of charge.
Damages to internal content without damages to outer packaging Upon submitting relevant photographic evidence, Swyft will raise a claim with the relevant carrier and if & when approval is received the respective funds will be transferred to the client.
Lost package Every attempt will be made to locate package and reroute for delivery. In an exceptional situation of a lost package, upon submitting relevant evidence (email stating non-receival of package), the invoice value (maximum USD 50) would be refunded or a replacement shipment will be provided free of charge.
